In order to achieve multiple access at a
single frequency, the C/A-codes are not
maximal length sequences. The cross-correlation between two C/A-codes is
small as are the autocorrelation sidelobes
shown here. This plot was created first
by generating the GPS C/A-code for PRN
10 by using the SatNav Toolbox function
CACODE. The function GPSCOR was
then used to compute the autocorrelation
values for lags 0 through 25.
